BOO&FINNI CLAY CENTER TERMS & CONDITIONS
All classes are subject to availability and Boo&Finni Clay Center reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
All classes are for ages 18 and up.
ENROLLMENT POLICY
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. A student will only be registered for a class upon receipt of tuition payment in full. We cannot guarantee placement into a class until payment is received.
CANCELLATION POLICY
To cancel a registration and receive a refund, you must notify Boo&Finni Clay Center at least 7 days before the start date of your class. This gives us more time to replace your spot. We will refund your payment minus a 10% cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date of the class. In the event that the Boo&Finni Clay Center is forced to cancel a class, a full refund will be issued or a rescheduling of the class. Unfortunately, we cannot provide credit for a no call no show.
You are more than welcome to send a friend in your place. Just give us a heads up through email.
MISSED CLASSES
If a class is missed, no make-up session can be offered. Please double-check class dates and times prior to registering. If you miss a class during a 5 or 6 week session you still have access to the studio to come, practice and make work within that time frame. Emerson and Jennifer are around and happy to assist.
MINIMUMS
Class
We require at least four bookings in order to run a class. If we don’t meet this minimum, we may cancel the course and offer you a full refund or a credit to attend a class of the same value in the future.
Private Event
We require a minimum of 7 enrollments and maximum of 14 enrollments to reserve Boo&Finni Clay Center for a private event.
Boo&Finni Clay Center requires at least 3 weeks advanced notice for scheduling a private event. This gives us time to plan out our future classes, date-nights, pop-ups, programming and other private events.
FINISHED WORK
We do our very best to make sure every students work is handled with the up most care through the ceramic process, however, due to the inherent nature of this medium, Boo&Finni Clay Center cannot be held responsible for any undesirable outcomes, including but not limited to - accidents, errors, cracking, breakage, blow ups, misfires or something not turning out how you had hoped. We are very sorry when this happens but we will not be held liable for it.
STORAGE
We have a strict ONE MONTH storage policy. Our Clay Center is small and storage is minimal.
This includes thrown and hand-built work from all of our date-nights, try the wheel, private events and end of class shelf clean off. If your work is not picked up within this time frame, it will be discarded or donated. You will get an email notification when your work is ready to be picked up and from that email date is when the month starts.
It is the student’s responsibility to be aware of the storage policy. If you cannot collect your finished work within this time frame, let us know and we are happy to make alternative arrangements.
INFORMING OTHER PARTICIPANTS OF TERMS & CONDITIONS
It is the responsibility of the person reserving any class, private event, or date-night to inform other participating persons of our terms and conditions.
Example: If Jane reserves Boo&Finni Clay Center for a private event it’s the responsibility of Jane, who made the reservation, to inform the participants who are invited about our terms and conditions.
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY
Boo&Finni Clay Center reserves the right to take photographs and video footage during classes that may include students and to use these photographs and video footage for the purpose of advertising our classes in all media in perpetuity and without payment to students.
LIABILITY
Boo&Finni Clay Center and its owners/operators/employees are not liable or responsible for any accidental injury to students or any loss or damage to personal possessions. I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims and damages for personal injury, death or property damage which I may sustain or which may occur as a result of my own participation with Boo&Finni Clay Center.
